- We schedule appointments and visit families who have
moved to the Gallatin Valley recently. In the instance of management
people, often the person will prefer we use their business
address. We work with the Chambers of Commerce of Belgrade and
Bozeman.
- Our goal is to welcome new residents and to establish
lasting relationships with our sponsors.
- We present a resource package on our Valley including
up-to-date maps, vacation/recreation information, clubs and
organizations, hospital and library information, bus schedules,
etc. By making a personal presentation, we are able to answer any
questions the newcomer may have and give location directions --
providing a personal touch.
- Our packages also include brochures/inserts,
coupons, free gifts and a special spiral-bound booklet with listing and
contact information about our sponsoring businesses. The booklets have
proven to be very popular for lasting referrals.
- We sometimes work with businesses that are hiring new
employees from other areas. Usually these people have left life-long
friends and family; our service forms a link to friendly welcoming
"new" friends and reputable businesses.
- Sponsoring businesses receive a list each month,
including names, addresses, phone numbers and any special interests of
the people we visited. This allows our businesses to follow up
with an individual welcome and/or additional
incentives.
